I thought I'd create this, basically cos everyone's doing one and I wanted to see what the heck all the fuss was about. I'm not very interesting, but funny things are always happening to me (not funny to me by the by) so you'll laugh and say ha! At least I'm not as embarrassing as this gal. So yeah, it's a little ego boost for y'all. ^_^

Okay, so let me start by saying hi! No one's probably reading this but its good for me to write these things. So I can look back and say, yep. Still a big nerd. But thanks to a certain person who shall later be named, I couldn't care less if I'm a nerd! I ain't the only one!!
Things that have happened while I've been away...
- My fanfic is on chapter 13 now methinks. Yeah, not a whole lotta chapters but as you can see from the date of my last post....I lazy!
- I PASSED MY FIRST YEAR OF UNI!! WOOT WOOT! ^_^ It was touch and go there for a second but I did it, and not as bad as I thought I did. But the second year looms...I've been on summer holidays for almost 12 weeks now...I think I've forgotten how to hold a pen!!
- I saw the film I was waiting for almost as much (if not more) as ROTK. Spider-Man 2. It. Was. Too. Good. I'm still in awe, and I've seen it like 3 times!
- I'm still reading comics, although my range has definately grown from just Uncanny X-Men. Yep, my wallet is definately lighter.
- Healthy eating sucks. That excerise thing didn't work! At all! *sigh* Ah well...
- Joss Whedon is writing an X-Men comic. And it rocks. It rocks so much it deserves its own bullet point. I suggest you pick it up, while he's still on the book! NOW!
- Angel finished! Sadness!
- Smallville's starting to suck. Big time. Latest news, Bart Allen's showing up. Yeah people, it's that bad.
- Slayers...stopped @ episode 11. I can't find anymore. Finished everything Weiss Kreuz. Seen a lot more anime thanks to the Sci-Fi channel, like Excel Saga and Evangelion. I'm gonna try and catch Dragon Half when it comes on, as well as Fist of the North Star.
I think that's everything. Oh yeah, except the most important thing. So important, it deserved its own rant paragraph (Sorry Joss!). Seth Cohen...erm, I mean The O.C. and the best character ever since Xander Harris! This guy, is seriosuly so funny. He deserves his own show! I'm serious! I would've probably switched off halfway through if he wasn't on there! You've just got to watch the Chrismukka episode to see the genius in action!! (For those of you wondering, Seth has a Jewish Dad and a Christian Mum so he celebrates both Christmas and Hannukah. So he combined the two into a big super holiday, Chrisumukka.) In short, Seth rocks and they need to take very good care of this character if they want the show to last long. I'm serious. DO NOT DO TO HIM WHAT THEY DID TO XANDER DAMMIT!!
Anyhoo, I'm gonna sign off. Stuff to do and whatnot!
Peace. DS.

I haven't posted in aaaaaaaages but hey, it's LOTR mania dudes!! I really should stop speaking like that, I'm not American! What I have been doing over these past few however long:
1) Updated my fic, got 3 reviews. All good, but I woulda liked more. Ah well ^_^
2) Have been sticking to my new healthy lifestyle i.e. not eating junk food every single day and doing exercise. I have NO idea if it's working but c`est la vie!
3) Been getting up at 9am just to watch Martian Successor Nadesico. It's a really funny anime!! I haven't laughed liked that since I first watched Tenchi Muyo. It's a spoof anime so it's meant to be all silly like that.
4) Almost finished Weiss Kreuz Gluhen. Two episodes to go!! It's getting good but...but...
SPOILER
Sena died!! *weeps*
END SPOILER
I couldn't friggin believe it! But I digress, it's got a better storyline than WK but it lacks the humouress interaction between the boys. They're all so depressed. 'Cept Ken, he's just angry lol.
5) Went shopping, not good. Jan sales suck ass.
6) Keep staring at my Uni assignments waiting to be done.....then I go watch TV ^_^()
If you still haven't watched ROTK, what the hell are you waiting for?! Move it!
Peace

Saw ROTK again, I am never gonna get old of that film. EVER. Never gonna stop crying either, bless you Samwise Gamgee. That, and I've got a Trigun graphic novel so I'll probably be reading that...and I WILL be updating my fic "Rifts..." at some point this week. It's almost finished.

One of the most significant moments of my life happened on Wednesday. I saw ROTK. Rather than blab and blab about how I just loved every single damn minute of the thing, I'll post a review that I've posted on another place:
I'm too emotionally drained to do anything! 11.30 this morning me and my friends (and what looked like half of East London) sat down and watch the final film of this amazing trilogy and let me just say, it did not fail to deliver. Course, I still haven't got through the book yet so I don't know what was changed or thrown out or whatever but as the film goes it was bloody awesome. I haven't been through such a range of emotions since...ever.
SPOILERS
Okay, so a friend of mine accidently slip that quote "Bernard Hill's character is going to die" end quote so I wasn't really like GASP or anything when Theoden bit it but I cried because it was sad. The film started off a little slow but it was all good considering the next two hours were going to be a rollercoaster. As I said, I haven't read the book yet *looks at the poor thing collecting dust* so I wasn't really sure who was going to survive and stuff. Though from what I've heard, movie deaths were going to be different from book deaths anyway (Haldir).
One of the many things I loved about this movie was, everyone kicked ass. Of course the main ass kickers (Aragorn and them guys) were throwing it down proper but others like Eowyn, Merry, Pippin, Sam....everyone was! Legolas and that oliphant (sp?) OMG!! THAT WAS THE BEST PART EVER! HE'S LIKE SUPER-ELF!! TOOK DOWN ALL THOSE GUYS WHILE KEEPING COUNT FOR GIMLI AND NEVER LOOKED UNGRACEFUL!! THAT WAS FREAKING MARVELLOUS!! No, I didn't leave the caps lock on by mistake, that part almost had me out of my seat applauding the bugger. Well done Leggy! I thought by the end of the trilogy I could at least pick 3 fave characters but damn it I love em all. Even that gross out monster guy with half an eye for God's sake. The last half hour (methinks), starting with Theoden biting it, was just reach for the bloody tissues and have a good cry. It was heartwrenching. Pippin and Sam, when they started I started (crying that is). The performances in this were really solid and in my opinion they don't need any oscars to prove that they done good. Did anyone else seriously wanna bitch slap Denethor? I don't care how demented the guy was he tried to burn his son alive! Damn bastard. I seriously cannot stress how much this film blew me away. One of my fave scenes in the film had to be right at the very end when Aragorn had been crowned and reunited with Arwen. The four hobbits bowed to Aragorn and he goes "My friends, you never need to bow to anyone." And he and everyone else that was there bowed to him. It was wicked, and I just love Aragorn for that part. I just loved all of them (as you can probably tell by now). The end scene just about killed any emotional feeling I had left. All the hobbits looked so sad and stuff....made me cry even more. Bless 'em.
Okay, I could go on all day but I'll stop now. ^_^()
END SPOILERS
Best film I've seen this year, if not ever. Year of the Matrix my butt, Rings owns all.
If you haven't seen this film yet, what the bloody hell are you waiting for?! It owns! And the fact that none of the actors got any Golden whatever noms for their performances shows that these critics don't know jack from sh*t. Oh, Cold Mountain got a lot of noms you say? Well it's an American based award thingy and that film is about the American civil war. That's all I gotta say. What won best picture at the oscars? Chicago. Bring on the MTV Movie awards, they know what they're talking about! Oh, and the BAFTAs better give some acting awards to these guys. Come on, grown men weeped during this film. It was a masterpiece. Better than Titanic anyday. That's just my opinion anyways, not like its fact or anything. ^_^()
Yeah, I'll stop ranting....bout ROTK anyways. Got news that the X-Men comic world is gonna have a big ass shake up, which really leaves me sad. Chris Claremont, who's like the Daddy of the X-Men (Stan Lee being the Granddaddy) is taking over Uncanny. Good right? If you're a fan of the fuzzy one (as I am). Not if you're an Iceman fan. I seem to get the feeling that CC doesn't like Bobby Drake, as he always writes him as a whiny brat or he "conveniently" has to leave the mansion and only show up for a panel every 6 comics so that people like me (fans of frosty dude) to keep buying. So I have no idea what's gonna happen to Bobby. CC is going to be writing 2 of the 3 core books and that leaves only one for Bobby to go to. Unless the new writer, who is causing all this shake up, wants Bobby on his team it's back to Long Island for Bobby. And that makes me very sad. It also makes me kinda sad that CC is gonna write Nighty again, it's not that he can't do it well it's just that he may wanna take Kurt down the priest road again and this I feel kinda messed up his character in a way, taking away his flirty side. Argh, what a web. All I'm saying is that as long as Iceman is on a book that'll do him justice, that's where my money is going to go. I'm gonna sign off now, gonna go watch ROTK again tomorrow! Yay!
Peace

I'm so very hyper today, cos it's my last day of uni and ROTK is 5 days away!! All the ads are on TV, the reviewers are saying it's the best film ever and I'm just really hyper! Plus my mate got a number off a guy she likes, so I'm very happy for her!
Gonna be watching a new episode of Smallville tonight, as I'm very behind and need to catch up. Episode 4 it is, and there's lots of uncessary naked-ness. Kinda sounds like a British film lol. *sings along to Weiss Kreuz* Sorry, I love them. They are a really good band and the anime has such a kicking theme.
On a side note, I saw Martin Johnson today! The captain of the bleedin rugby world cup champions (England, by the by.)! He's a lot smaller in real life, as in not so wide....maybe my TV makes him look weird I dunno. Anyhoo, I'm going on a diet in the four weeks I'm off uni. Hopefully I'll be able to stick to it ^_^() Yeeeeah right, I have the appetite of a Saiya-jin.
I'm betting my post on Wednesday will be a lot longer, as I'll be going on and on about ROTK. My friend let slip that someone significant kinda dies in the film. I was so shocked! I couldn't believe it! I'm taking bloody Kleenex, as if Sean Astin's Sam wasn't gonna make me cry enough already. That man is such a top class actor, I can't wait to see it!
I'm late with my comics. Damn Marvel and they're stupid unpredictable release dates. Flash is good, it's not coming out til next year (even though a certain cape n cowl dude is in the hiz-ouse lol) but Uncanny X-Men is driving me mad. I'm gonna miss some copies I can feel it. ¬_¬
Anyhoo, I'd better sign off before I bore you to death. Hehe....Bye!

Quote of the day: Berg: *4 pregnant ladies walk in* "Four sisters who just don't know how to say no." Pete: "I swear I don't know any of them Berg." Love these guys. ^_^

Ok, so I didn't come back and write more! But it's only because it was my sister's day on the computer. On a plus the episode I saw was really funny, gotta love Berg ^_^
Today was a fun day in all, went to see S.W.AT. it was good, predictable but entertaining and some of my fave actors! And I bought my ticket to the ultimate movie experience *holds up ticket to Return of the King* I'm so excited!! I'm gonna see it before half the world! Yay!!! ^______^
All I do is watch TV, I swear. Gotta watch The Bill soon, then continuing a new anime I got into "The Slayers", which is one of the funniest animes I've ever seen. I did spend the rest of the day searching for a song by Weiss Kreuz, the new recording of Velvet Underworld...and we cants findssss it!! *weeps* Not good.
Tomorrow is my last day of uni for a WHOLE MONTH! THE JOY! Got to watch ROTK multiple times, watch Transformers: The Movie (which I just got for a fiver!!) and update my fics. I have been working on them, but I have writer's block! Hate that.
Anyways, I haven't really done much else today. So I'll be signing off now. Peace.

Yeah, following the crowd. I gets a major b*tch slap for that one. I hope you find my blogs amusing. They'll usually consist of my rants for the day, praise of some footballer or something and embarrassing stories that happen to me throughout the day. I promise I will post something soon but Two Guys and a Girl is on soon and....I just love Pete and Berg. Be back later!
